Advanced Paddler Peer Catch Up

Post by AKOfficer » Mon Aug 08, 2016 8:46 am

Hi all,

We're organising a little get together for all club members and friends who are paddling at an advanced level (L4 /equivalent upwards or there abouts, think paddling Lough Dan, Glenmac, Upper Liffey, Dargle etc.) to catch up on all things paddling that happened so far this year and might happen in the next few months. The idea is to provide a platform to share stories and experiences from trips abroad, new and old rivers, plans and ideas for future paddles, training requirements etc. and generally just to have a bit of banter.

This is to create a space for advanced paddlers in the club to catch up and touch base. If you want to bring some videos and pictures from your adventures, we'll try to get a laptop set up.

We're meeting at the Angler's Rest at 8pm on Tuesday 16th August.

Bring your paddle buddies along!

Franzi & John C.

PS: We will be organising a get together for intermediate paddlers in the coming weeks as well.

Guys, just to say, the WiFi in the Angler's can be dodgy, so if you are planning on bringing your pics and videos it might be a good idea to have them on a USB stick or your phone, just in case.

See you all Tuesday,

Franzi
