The pool is back on Thursday September 13th from 8 – 9pm for the rolling sessions.
No river boats and playboats are allowed in the pool yet – we want to give the beginners a chance to get comfortable in the pool first. We will post as soon as the river and play boats are allowed back in. But for now only polo boats allowed.
As numbers may be high for the first few weeks with everyone keen to get rolling, we plan on running a first come first served rota. Max number of polo boats on the water at any time is 12, so the first 12 people that arrive can get on from 8 – 8.30 and then we can rotate to the next 12 people from 8.30 – 9. We want to give everyone a chance to get on for the session.
Helpers will be down on the night to share their wisdom with the beginners – so we encourage all beginners to get down . It’s a great chance to get comfortable with your roll before you start hitting the rivers.
It’s not essential but we would recommend that if you have goggles and a nose plug to bring them down with you. If you don’t have them you can get them pretty cheap in most sports stores.
Cost Per Session:
If using the pool please ensure that you find whoever is on duty to give them the money beforehand (usually Niamh at the front door from 7:45). Please don’t leave it up to us to chase you.
Usual safety and pool rules apply.
